Exploration Potential
In late 2019, Smooth Rock, completed a ground based geophysical surveying program on the Garfield Flats Project. A total of 282 kilometers (175 miles) of ground based geophysical surveying was completed.
In 2020, Smooth Rock completed Phase I of the exploration program that consisted of reconnaissance prospecting, geological mapping, surface trenching, relocating historical workings. Phase I of the exploration program has provided accurate modern data to assist in the planning of the Phase II drill program.
The results from the Phase I exploration program have been complied, generating several potential drill targets for the upcoming drill program expected to begin later in 2021.
